“We Don’t Decide Which Spirit Comes Through”
Who Really Shows Up and Why
We never know in advance who will come through from the other side during a reading.
We have no control over it, and that’s exactly what makes mediumship so fascinating.
You can rest assured that the loved ones you cared about so deeply are around you. What often surprises people is that spirits from generations back also come through. People who passed away long before you were born.
Why do spirits make themselves known?
They want you to know they are helping you and watching over your life.
They often give their birth names so you can find them in your family tree, and they share specific details about their life: the name of their partner, their children, or personal memories.
They also explain exactly why they are with you - besides the fact that they love you, and which area of your life they are supporting.
The two robins at the window
One client asked me why two robins kept appearing at her window almost every week. They always came together and never flew away when she approached the window; they just looked at her.
Almost immediately, I received two names: a man and a woman. The client fell silent and then said, “Those are the names of my great-grandmother and great-grandfather.”
Spirits love to work with animals such as birds or butterflies. They temporarily “borrow” their tiny bodies to spirit to get our attention.
The strikingly beautiful great-grandmother
During another reading, a woman suddenly appeared very clearly before me. She was stunning, with long, wavy black hair down to her waist. I felt that all the men in her life had fallen head over heels for her.
She showed me a son she had raised alone. The client started laughing with joy and said, “That’s my great-grandmother! She was the most beautiful woman in town. No man could tame her.”
He had not expected her to come through and was happily surprised. The next day, he sent me an old black-and-white photo; it was the same woman I had seen.
Live readings on the radio
During a live radio show where I was invited to talk about mediumship, I kept receiving two names: Josef and Maria.
After the broadcast, I asked the presenter and the production team if they knew anyone by those names.
A young girl from the team put her hand over her mouth. She had often asked her grandfather Josef and grandmother Maria for a sign that they were still with her.
She never expected it to come this way.
The angry truck driver
During another late-night live radio show, a truck driver called in while being on the road. He was angry and declared that all psychics and mediums are frauds and liars.
The presenter asked me if comments like that hurt me. I acknowledged that everyone is entitled to have an opinion, and that I would like to speak directly to the driver.
“Go ahead, I’m very curious,” he said sarcastically.
I calmly asked, “Does your boss know about the five large boxes stacked at the very back on the left side of your truck? The ones with illegal goods in them?”
There was a short silence… and then the driver hung up. Who's the fraud and liar now?
